Blockton Square Mall

Blockton Square Mall (BSM) was a shopping and exploration experience originally launched on February 18, 2023 during the LewStudios era.

Later that year, LewStudios was acquired by BlackWood Group in August 2023 and renamed BlotCorp, beginning a new chapter for BSM and the company behind it. During the BlotCorp era, the experience was rebuilt as BSM (Remaster), a major redevelopment of the original Blockton Square Mall.

The remaster entered paid early access as Beta Version 1.0a, with players encouraged to report bugs and glitches while development continued.

Following the eventual sale of BlotCorp by BlackWood Group, the company transitioned into what is now known as Paper Rings Interactive (PRI).

As PRI later shifted toward Blockton, a unified experience designed to bring many of its locations and projects together into one connected world, development of the standalone Blockton Square Mall experience came to an end. The standalone version has since been discontinued and is no longer playable.

BSM itself, however, continues on. Blockton Square Mall now exists as a location within Blockton, carrying the project forward into a new generation.

From its original LewStudios launch, through the BlotCorp and BlackWood Group era, and into modern Paper Rings Interactive, BSM remains an important part of PRI’s history.
